Raquel is a photographer and storyteller drawn to the odd, the overlooked, and the quietly extraordinary.
With more than 30 years of experience as a photographer, published journalist, and certified horticulturist, she brings a rare blend of scientific curiosity and artistic vision to her work. Her images trace both the slow pulse of environmental change and the fleeting moments that vanish in a breath. What we see, and how we see, is as individual as a thumbprint, and her work leans into that singularity.
Her creative micro‑studio weaves fine art and documentary photography with science‑informed writing, conservation, and nature‑based storytelling. It’s a space where curiosity leads, and where the natural world, and our relationship with it, sets the rhythm.
